Other tracks that will amaze you are "The Snow" the title track, and hell what am I saying, the whole album is amazing. The track "windowpayne", is just a tip of the iceber g when it comes to experimental perfection on this record. Now over 10 years later, god actually almost 15, this album still ceases to amaze me. These recordings and mixes are incredibly rare, and demonstrate Coils working. ![]() This CD is in amazing/never used condition and contains the original booklet insert. This original 1991 COIL classic from Wax Trax Records is one of the crown jewels of the Labels catalog and has been out of print for years. My life was forever intrigued by them from then on. The album was finally released by Torso (Europe) and Wax Trax (USA) in 1991. For a limited time, we are offering Wax Trax items from the personal Nash Family collection and archives. This amazing group had actually been around at that point for over 10 years, but I had no idea. The music, I found out later that night, was "windowpayne" by a british experimental band called "Coil". I was in a trance by the sound, it carried me across the dance floor like a demon in fight. ![]() The dj that night at the city nightclub in portland was playing some real heavy dreary stuff, when all of the sudden come's this amazing sound from the huge thumping speakers sourrounding the room. Bonati is a bit better, finer, with more details. If you compare both, it seems as if the work of Mr. Wax Trax uses as mentioned before the skills Josh Bonati who remastered the reissues on Dais Records. The year was 1992 it was the summer and I was a crazed, goth, club kid looking for music I could truly connect with. The previous Coil releases on Infinite Fog were remastered by Martin Bowes (Attrition) so he will probably work on LSD too. ![]()
